Installation

Cortex SEO is a standard WordPress plugin.

  1. Download the latest plugin ZIP file from your account dashboard.
  2. Login to your WordPress admin panel.
  3. Navigate to:
    Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
  4. Upload the ZIP file.
  5. Click Install Now.
  6. Activate the plugin.

How to Activate Your License

  1. Open Cortex SEO Unlimited inside WordPress.
  2. Navigate to:
    License Settings
  3. Paste your license key.
  4. Click Activate License.

If activation succeeds, your plugin will unlock premium features and updates.

Downloading Plugin Updates

You can download the latest version from:
My Account → Downloads

Updates may also appear directly inside WordPress if your license is active.

REQUIREMENTS

WordPress 6.0+, PHP 7.4+, MySQL 5.7+ or MariaDB 10.3+. Cortex talks to your AI provider over HTTPS — outbound port 443 must be open. Most managed hosts are fine.

How to Reset Your Password

  1. Go to the Login page.
  2. Click Forgot Password.
  3. Enter your email address.
  4. Follow the reset instructions sent to your inbox.

How to Upgrade Your Plan

To upgrade your plan:

  1. Visit the Pricing page.
  2. Select your preferred plan.
  3. Complete checkout.

Your account limits and features will update automatically.

Managing Active Domains

Inside your account dashboard you can:

  • View activated websites
  • Remove old activations
  • Track license usage

If you reach your site limit, remove unused activations before adding new websites.

Troubleshooting

License Activation Failed

Possible causes:

  • Invalid license key
  • Expired subscription
  • Domain limit reached
  • Firewall blocking API requests

Solutions:

  • Verify your key
  • Check your account status
  • Remove unused domains
  • Contact support if needed

Plugin Not Updating

Ensure:

  • Your license is active
  • Your WordPress site can access external APIs
  • Your hosting provider is not blocking requests

Try:

  • Re-saving the license key
  • Clearing WordPress cache
  • Updating manually
